Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Norwood Young America thanks the City of Norwood Young America for its continuing support, including:
- allowing the Campaign to decorate the tree at the five-way stop with yellow ribbons;
- publishing notice of the Campaign's monthly meetings and annual Honor Banquets on the City’s website;
- allowing the Campaign to use the City’s conference room for our monthly meetings;
- providing the Willkommen Memorial Park Pavilion for the annual Honor Banquet;
- allowing the Campaign to appear before the City Council every year to request the Yellow Ribbon Proclamation;
- the attendance and participation of the Mayor at each annual Honor Banquet;
- posting notices of the Campaign's annual Honor Banquet at City Hall each year;
- hanging the Yellow Ribbon banner at the five-way stop intersection every year;
- approving the Campaign's adoption of Veteran's Park; and
- posting the "Yellow Ribbon Community" sign to the City's sign at City limits.
Meetings -
The Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Norwood Young America volunteers customarily meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Roy Clay Building. Please check the Campaign's Facebook page for upcoming meetings.
